Questions about therapy
What will our first session be like?
Our first session is all about getting to know you as a whole person, including your strengths and what’s weighing on you. We’ll talk through your story, whether that’s fertility, pregnancy, or postpartum, and start noticing what stands out. Together, we’ll begin finding tools that fit your life. We don’t have to and won’t get to everything in the first session.
What's different about perinatal therapy?
Perinatal therapy is support made just for the baby years: trying to conceive, pregnancy, and life with a new little one. It’s a space where you can show up exactly as you are. No judgment, and no worrying about whether you’re “good enough.”
Is this solely for new parents or people actively TTC?
Nope! This season of life doesn’t follow a calendar. Trying to conceive can take time, with ups and downs, big decisions, and pauses along the way. Postpartum is often defined as the first year, but its effects can last much longer. Whether your baby is a newborn or a kindergartner, you’re taking a break from trying, or you’re still processing a past birth or loss, you’re welcome here.
Do we only talk about fertility or perinatal topics?
Not at all! You’re a whole person beyond fertility, babies, and parenthood. Work, relationships, family, or anything else on your mind, you’re welcome to bring it all
